whoosh, long time.

mmmh, no updates on my end, cept for the frenzied dowloading of anime...and manga...and once in a while mp3. Just came across this anime called Last Exile, seems like it's a Gonzo 10th anniversary project. It's already licensed but if you know where to look...heh...heh...heh...anyway, it's a good anime. Hell, fug good, it's an awesome anime. S'been so long since I've seen quality anime like this...

Boohoo, Wolf's Rain is also licensed, like, 4 eps or so to finishing. Goddammit.

Hey, I don't think it's stupidity at all. You know what? I was about to do the same thing as well but you did it first! Hahaha! But really, I was about to do that but I thought that I'm not a moderator so I thought twice. But my friend told me that members do have the right to comment as well. And I think you did the best thing in that situation. Kind words do not really go through them so...yeah, you did the best thing! No need to worry.

I've been through that hell once and I did not regret it. I was guilty on one point for saying bad things but in the end, if I didn't do that, things will not change. And if Jas-chan leaves AKML, it's her loss...that'll be completely immature (that is if she did that!). Besides, it's her fault, so...no need to feel...uhm whatever you are feeling right now!

T__T No we are not getting split up. Everyone had so much emotional trash, we need to get them out somewhere. And to avoid littering the SenRu arena with our emotional trash, was to come to somewhere like...the zoo. ^_^ I see more of those 'hi-I'm-delurking-so-I'm-saying-hi-to-everybody' posts again....grr. Nevermind, at least we have people like aki, dig and gina posting their fics. I guess we could put up with that. Then there're the sites Spellbound and Zero Hour.

Oh, and Chache, I think Archangel-chan took the description of our Kitsune off 'Minako's SD marriage prospects', which was why she got all that silly hanaru stuff and skinny leg things in it, 'cause minako is a hanaruhana fan. And she had probably forgot to scan through the stuff carefully. ^^ I read the SD Marriage prospects thing many times (to get ideas for my fics) and I am VERY sure that the skinny legs thing came from there. So...don't get so upset at archangel-chan, okay? I think she made a silly blunder, that's all. ^_^

*sighs* Chache...we're not being split apart in the ML...at least, not the way you seem to think. Yes, most of the zoo here are lurkers, but that doesn't really mean anything. Least, that's how I feel. Personally, I don't appear anymore at the ML cos I'm just too swamped in RL. Heck, I'm so tired I haven't gone online & chatted w the zoo for almost a month now. And my room...don't even get me started. I haven't spoken to my family for weeks - & we live in the same house! I can't speak for the others, but when I occasionally read some of the ML's msgs, I feel even more drained, ancient... The energy & enthusiasm showing in the mostly perky msgs remind me of my early-day posts, but I guess those days are over for me. So I just let the youngsters have fun...

Which led to the warning I posted in the ML some time back. Dunno if you'd have agreed w me, but I thot it was a matter that needed to be stopped immediately. The discussion was abt a writer in FF.net & what some thot were her efforts/spam to promote her fics. Long story short, it de-generated...name-calling, thrashing the mary-sue fic that particular writer seemed to favor. And all this went on even when Eddie said "Karen" was just as exasperated w the spam that she had supposedly sent, & another party could have been responsible. No end in sight, so I decided to bring part of my work personality into the whole thing, & played the bad cop who shut down the party. I may be a lurker, but that doesn't mean I have to just accept all those flame mails appearing in my inbox. 'Sides, it happened in FF.net....not in AKML. I don't wanna have to move MLs again just cos some mud-slinging ate a chunk of space.

*shrugs* maybe I over-reacted, but I'm not sorry I stopped that "discussion" when I did. I'll still lurk, but it doesn't mean I don't like senru anymore - just ask any zoo-ers who's had to endure chatting w me b4 I disappeared. Just that now, I'll like it on my own terms.

Ren-chan, I'm sorry... But I don't understand what you're talking about. I apologize. I've been away so long, and I didn't even have time to check on the ML. So many things has happened, I just needed to get my life back on it's wheels.

I tried to save the ML before because... well you alreadyknow why. I love SenRu. I still do! More than ever! I do believe I've learned to love you all as well. This is about as corny as I can get, but it's an honest feeling. That's why I react so emotionally to the ML problems. I'm heartbroken to even think of us being torn apart by something -well something like this! And I'm twice as ashamed because I don't even know what it is and where it began.

Please tell me guys, do you still think it's worth it that I try to make everything okay again? If the situation can be fixed, will you all still come back and feel at home in the new ML? If not, I will understand. Or at least I'll try my best to.
Again, I'm so sorry for this. ^^ I want to do something... whatever I can. I just miss you all. Miss us. In our ML. If it will ever be ours again...

Ren- If you're up to it, please tell me everything that happened. I want to know.

I've been training a newbie for most of the week, I'm more tired than ever...and what do I see when I take a break and enter the AKML? Name-calling, flaming, the works. And the incident that triggered this...where did it happen? In fanfiction.net. Not in AKML.

People had been mentioning I had been away for a long time. Well, I sure made my presence felt with my warning. I don't care if people think I'm not getting it, or I'm being a bossy bitch just 'cos I'm a moderator - this is not appropriate behavior for the ML. I'll put up with sappy posts, OT messages and too-cheerful responses - some people have no other place to vent. Give and take, is my opinion.

But flame....and I'll toast you. And Eddie, thanks for trying to put things into perspective, although I think they chose to ignore your post.

When I blog with perfect spelling and grammar, I'm pissed. And dammit, I was in a good mood before this too.

Oh my, I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way, but I still couldn't help feeling like it. I know I'm partially to blame for these "absences", though I have my own reasons, and I'm sure everyone have their own share as well. I guess, after thinking about it, it seems quite unreasonable to say such about the new group, but with the principle of togetherness, I believe comes in duality with the principle of belongingness < Sorree! This insomina's keeping me from thinking coherently>. Maybe with the old ml, that sense of belongingness came easy, because I was seeing and being with what I feel is right and gratifyingly rewarding. -sigh- I guess I don't feel the same way about the "new crowd" anymore, I'm sorry. -_-;; Although I admit it was discriminatory and judgmental of me for being accusatory point-blank. honestly i was surprised to find this blog. i joined cos my friends were here, but it gave me an alienated feeling. i didn't want to be pessimistic though...
but now i've confirmed my fears. you guys are starting to look for another haven. i'm crestfallen, but it's okay i guess. you have every right to...

i'm sorry if i sound too bossy or corny. i know you're all very busy and need to take a break from the ml from time to time. it can be very stressful.
my only point is: why'd you all decide to disappear from the ml all of a sudden, but when some "youngsters" keep the ml alive with their posts... it makes you feel pissed... i really want to understand what's shunning you away from the ml. is there an exclusivity rule now?

i've been so sad and lonely the past few days, and when i finally get a chance to come up and say hello & "i miss you" to everyone, this is what i find out.
if i could do somthing about it, i don't want us all to be separated or be torn apart by petty things just like any other group that just faded away.
i've always belived we had something very special. i still do... i believe in SenRu love. if you think that's cheesy, then i'm very very sorry.

i don't want us to be divided like this. i think i'd rather not take part in any SenRu group. i love you all, old or NEW- and i thought the ml was for everyone like us.

i remember the ml's original goal was to bring all of the SenRu fans together, right? isn't that what matters now? i guess things are coming unglued now that SenRu's popularity is on the rise... maybe it was better when we were being persecuted, at least it motivated us enough to stick together and keep the ml alive... heh.

is it because the new members are pretty corny? i hope you're just in a bad mood and i can understand that. i get pissed off easily when i am too... but the only reason their "silly" "mushy" posts seem so dominant is cos you guys practically disappeared from the new ml! the old senru members... well, i think it's quite sad that only diggler is the old ml member i know who's still posting...

Hi everyone! -meeps- My first time here, and might as well be the first time i've said anything to ren and jayne-kit after a excruciating LONG time...how've you been?

This might be why i broke the promise i made to the new ml , to make my presence felt. -sigh- As aforementioned, I *DID* think about giving up on the ml, ever since it occured to me that being member was doing me in, what with all the messages sent to my inbox that I wouldn't even give a second glance and the fics ...well...for most of them , I guess I deem them not a worthy read for my time anymore...-_-;; Sorry for the angsty, nasty rambling. Pfft. But don't worry, I certainly will not drop out of the ml. I guess I'll just have to edit my membership to "Send no Mail" or something...-_-;; What's to miss but a few forwarded messages that ends up trash bin-ned, some OT's I don't care about, and fics that are, too, archived in ff.net? >< Just not worth it!

to continue with this fairly distasteful topic, it just struck me exactly what about their posts amuses me very much, in a warped way, of course.
a) they say things like 'hello!', 'long time no see!' and 'i miss you!' to pple whom they've probably never talked to, and/or don't know very well. yes, i speak from personal experience.
b) they "welcome newbies"... and i'm thinking, hm, you're pretty twinkish yourselves.

and they're taking over the ml. someone should have an equivalent to the GhostBusters (tm) for pple like these.

^________^ haha! Not for Jay-kun, but she answered first huh? Anyway, Anduril Okami-kun... i think that Sakuragi is already a good player in a sense. He's good at rebounding definitely, but when it comes to discipline of a true player, like how Sendoh has a keen sense of teamplay and leadership aside from his natural all-around prowess... while Rukawa's passion too makes him a master from all positions in the field, and he too has potential leadership quality since he was captain of his junior high Tomigaoka... I think Sakuragi gets better, but not enough to pose a threat to either Sendoh or Rukawa... and most definitely not enough to become the embodiment of an MVP!!! Hahaha! That is my assessment... ^____^ If you trust an honest un-biased opinion of a self-proclaimed Sakuragi-hater...

Here's a more objective analysis: The four OAVs or movies were mostly written by TOEI and Takehiko Inoue has very little to do with it, so a lot of the events were inconsistent with the manga and the series. Then movie 4 takes place after the Kainan game, but in the manga & anime timeline, right before the Inter-High, Sakuragi challenges Rukawa to a one-on-one, wherein he lost miserably. ^____^ I love it when Ruru said "Now you know the difference." That was solid evidence that Sakuragi was nowhere near Rukawa in terms of Basketball skills... and an obvious disclaimer to the RuHana dellusion- plus in the Inter High games of the manga, Sakuragi did contribute a lot, but most of his fine plays were by chance and not because he was a good teamplayer... He even hinders his team most of the time! I believe he still has a lot to learn, cos Basketball takes much more than a stroke of luck and fancy colored hair...

Does Sakuragi have become really really really good? Up to the point of posing a serious threat to Rukawa? Up to the point of defeating him? Because I came across somebody who insists with that kind of play, he might get the MVP trophy in his second year, beating up even Sendoh and Jin. Sakuragi????
